Antithetical to the Christmas tidings of “on earth peace, good will toward men” (Luke 2:14), the ethnic cleansing now completing in the holy land of old puzzles the understanding of Christians in this the gospel age, especially during this time of year.
The late great Christian apologist Greg Bahnsen wrote:
The antithesis between followers of God and followers of Satan is sovereignly inflicted as God's judicial curse [cf. the account of the fall of man in Genesis chapter 3]. This enmity is not only social but also intellectual in nature, and, therefore, to ignore it in our apologetic is to compromise the gospel.1
The lack of outrage, especially from supposedly evangelical Christians, at the horror show in Gaza, live-streamed throughout the year of our Lord 2,024, is indicative of generations indoctrinated to view modern Israelis as perpetual victims defending against hostile neighbors. This has served to buttress the gates of hell against the gospel of peace.
The modern-day Jews prosecuting crimes against humanity in Palestine are foreigners to the land who reject Jesus Christ. They'd be more suitable candidates for evangelism but that they spit on Christians.
There is no "JudeoChristianity". There is the spirit of antichrist, and there is the Christian faith once for all delivered to the saints.
Dr. David Chilton, in his exhaustive commentary on the book of Revelation, insightfully wrote:
"...the apostate Jews are revealed in their true identity the synagogue of Satan. Again, there is no such thing as 'orthodox' Judaism; there is no such thing as a genuine belief in the Old Testament that is consistent with a rejection of Jesus Christ as Lord and God. Those who do not believe in Christ do not believe in the Old Testament either. The god of Judaism is the devil.... when Christ-rejecting Jews claim to follow in the footsteps of Abraham, Jesus says, they lie."2
The apostle John (contemporary of the incarnate Immanuel) wrote under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. (1 John 4:1-3)
It is an egregious distortion of the biblical account of the conquest of the promised land by Israel in the Old Testament to apply it to the modern creation of a Zionist settler colonial occupation and US imperialist outpost. Author and lecturer Gary DeMar states the case succinctly:
"There is not a single verse in the New Testament that supports the claim that there is prophetic significance in Israel’s restoration as a nation. Beyond A.D. 70, Israel as a nation plays no prophetic role. The New Testament only addresses Israel’s near destruction never its distant restoration. There is no mention of a temple being rebuilt or Jews returning to their land as was predicted in the Old Testament. The Jews did return to their land as prophesied (Jer. 29:14), “when seventy years have been completed for Babylon” (Jer. 29:10; cf. Dan. 9:2). The temple was eventually rebuilt as predicted (Ezra 5:16; John 2:20). These prophecies have been fulfilled."3
Ancient Israel's conquest of the promised land was completed, and divided among the tribes.
So the LORD gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they possessed it and lived in it. And the LORD gave them rest on every side, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the LORD gave all their enemies into their hand. Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass. (Joshua 21:43-45)
This clear passage of old testament Scripture certainly overrides Zionists’ attempts to literalistically interpret the geographical boundaries of Genesis 15:18-21, expressed in spatial merisms, to be translated into border lines on a modern map.
The promised land in the old testament was part of Israel's covenant with God, pointing to entering His rest through faith in Jesus Christ under the new covenant. Deceptively transplanting fulfilled prophecy into the future has facilitated a rationale for military aggression in pursuit of geopolitical interests (appallingly propagandized as the "right to exist" where the people already living have no such right).
The unholy scheme propagated into the church by Scofield under the direction of ultra-powerful, Luciferian Rothschild Zionists falsely asserts a biblical mandate to arrogate the ancient holy land for nonindigenous people who practice the religion, lifestyles or traditions of what is today called Judaism. Author and geopolitical analyst Matthew Ehret’s comment on this muddled situation is illuminating:
"Conducting a rational analysis of the motives for this type of dynamic poses a major difficulty for any geopolitical commentator used to thinking in academically acceptable terms, which presume that rational self-interest animates the players within a game. In this case, rational self-interest is infected by heavy doses of self-delusional Hegemonism, fanatical imperial zealotry, and end-times eschatology with a Messianic twist (taking both Christian and Jewish forms).4
Desperate resistance to the supremacist regime of these so-called Jews by the people of Palestine is categorically construed as “terrorism”, and any criticism from anyone is branded as 'antisemitism'. These hasbara techniques have been used to justify the indiscriminate slaughter of Palestinians who have been systematically dehumanized. And so the claimed ‘holocaust’ state of Zionist Israel commits a ‘holocaust’ against Palestinians.
Indeed it appears hopeless to stand against the united force of this well established matrix of deception fomented by the evil one; the pride and lusts of the world; the wickedness of mighty men; false prophets, temptations, heretical doctrines and the iniquity that these combined powers generate....
Even so, regardless of the circumstances of our lives; no matter the trials, afflictions, sorrows and losses, the present state of the nations, — the Incarnation brings a transcendent perspective, relegating everything else to the background.
A visit from heaven to earth; God appearing incognito; coming to endure the most horrible trials to win salvation for His people who have been enslaved to the cruelest of masters — the devil and their own sinful hearts.5
But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool (Hebrews 10:12-13).
And so yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37). And we know that, in accordance with God's time table, the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14; Isaiah 11:9).
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming. Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death (1 Cor. 15:22-26).
Therefore, like the patriarchs of old who overcame by faith, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:1-2).
Awareness is increasing. Keep the faith. Expose the darkness. Herald the Truth.
